Relationships can mean wife and husband, parent-child, same gender couples, aging parent-caregiver, brother-sister or any other of the infinite combinations.

There is no “right” way or recipe to do this; we learn as we go by talking to others who have gone before.

There may be people around, even offering help, but somehow letting them know what to do is impossible because we hurt too much. When we are alone is when we feel the saddest, even despairing.
